KM 0 / The Route
The Curriculum.
Two days, four sessions, one clear arc: from how these tools think, to a working assistant, to something you ship. Here is exactly what you cover and what you walk out having built.
KM 1 / Day One Morning / Foundations
- Mental models for how AI tools work, and where they break.
- The current landscape, and how to pick the right tool for a job.
- Prompting fundamentals: structure, context, and examples.
- The shift from asking questions to directing real work.
KM 2 / Day One Afternoon / Build a Custom Assistant
- Guided prompting drills to lock in the fundamentals.
- Design an assistant around a use case you bring from your own work.
- Test it, refine it, and make it reliable.
- Leave the day with a working custom assistant.
KM 3 / Day Two Morning / Going Further
- Working with your own documents and context.
- Connecting tools, and an honest introduction to automation and agents.
- When to reach for which approach.
- Verifying outputs and using AI responsibly.
KM 4 / Day Two Afternoon / Ship Something Real
- Build a working automation that removes a repetitive task, or deploy a live page.
- Assemble your personal AI toolkit.
- Map a clear plan for what to learn next.
- Earn your Applied AI Certificate.
